The Office of the Public Defender provides legal defense services for the indigent persons being prosecuted in the Superior and Juvenile Courts of the Southwestern Circuit (which consists of Lee, Macon, Schley, Stewart, Sumter, and Webster Counties) and also in the State court of Sumter County.
