Public Hearing and Special Called Meeting – Setting the Millage Rate
The Sumter County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing in order to receive public input on the proposed 2018 millage rate on August 1, 2018 at 6:00 PM at the Sumter County Courthouse – Board of Commissioners’ Meeting Room located at 500 West Lamar Street; Americus, GA 31709. The Sumter County Board of Commissioners does hereby announce that the millage rate will be set at a called meeting to be held on August 1, 2018 at 6:00 PM (directly following the public hearing) at the Sumter County Courthouse – Board of Commissioners’ Meeting Room and pursuant to the requirements of O.C.G.A. 48-5-32 does hereby publish the following presentation of the current year’s tax digest and levy, along with the history of the tax digest and levy for the past five years.
